Hello! Welcome to Stone Creek Cabinetry's web site! My name is David Fuhr, and I built my 4000 sq. ft. shop and opened my business in late 2004.

My shop is located at 27333 Iva Road, in Brookfield, Missouri. We are located just outside of town near the Country Club.

I have been working in the cabinet/woodworking business since 1993. Past experience includes working as a production manager for a couple of very large cabinet manufacturers, and I have also worked in sales and technical support for suppliers to my industry.

I am considered a finishing expert and have had an article published in Professional Refinishing (a trade magazine) a few years ago. I build mostly kitchen, bathroom and entertainment cabinets, but have done and do pretty much anything to do with fine woodworking, including the refurbishing/reconstruction of all wood cabinetry and furniture products in a 13 passenger private jet, furniture such as tables and entertainment centers to custom wood signs.

My specialty is multi-step designer finishes like old world, rustic, glazed, rubthru, and more. We work with any wood such as alder, maple, oak, hickory, walnut, cherry, lyptus, mahogany. I use only catalized sealers  and topcoats, the best most durable available. All drawers and pullout shelves are made of 1/2" Baltic birch and dovetailed for top quality. Full extension ballbearing drawer slides are standard. Cabinets are built from 3/4" hardwoods and plywoods - no cheap particleboard, melamine or other inferior products. We use only the best German engineered door hinges.

I use state of the art computer drafting to design the projects we work on. This gives me the ability to show clients a full-color highly detailed 3D representation of what their kitchen or bath will look like before it is ever built. We use a robotic CNC router to process the majority of our cabinet parts, giving us super precision in manufacturing with a tolerance within 1 thousandth of an inch.

I service mostly a 100 mile radius of Brookfield, but have done projects as far away as Texas.
